This one-hour podcast is designed to train attendees in a practical feedback method called Plus/Delta feedback using a Kanban team project approach. A Kanban is a visual workflow board that teams use in real-time to improve process and outcomes on an evolving project.
Using the parameters of Plus (for positives of current and retrospective performance metrics) and Delta (for change needed to create improved outcomes), critical feedback is provided through a growth mindset. Visualizing feedback, whether in the form of a sticky note board or drawing on a tablet, stimulates creative reasoning for the feedback recipient and serves as an artifact of the discussion. In the podcast, participants will learn how to facilitate a Plus/Delta feedback table with teams and individuals. We will discuss additional categories that can be included such as Flowers (Praise), Light Bulbs (Ideas), and Q’s (Questions) that allow constructive feedback to transform into a clear vision.
Participants will also discuss how to turn a Plus/Delta table into an Eisenhower Matrix by asking the questions: 1) Is it urgent? and 2) Is it important? This podcast features special guest, Kelly Woods, an LPC in Waco, TX.
